Firestorm: King of the hill

Mister Acacia is online

I thought I'd just point out that the Second Life Third Party Viewer Directory lists all clients, including their own, in order of crash rate. And Firestorm is top of that heap, king of the hill. I can't tell you what the crash rate actually is for Firestorm, but if memory serves it's the third viewer to have a better performance rating than their old V1.23. The other two are Imprudence (currently second) and a previous version of Phoenix.

And Firestorm's stats are based on their 4.1.1 release, barely a month old. User count is up, the transition from 4.0 to 4.1 is less prone to stale settings problems, tons of features, lots of bug fixes (obviously), and more bug fixes being applied every day thanks to the new crash report feature.

Firestorm developers, pat yourselves on the back. You have so far managed to produce the best performing viewer, and have thoroughly de-sucked Viewer2, one of Jessica's goals for Firestorm.
