As far as I can tell, the Astra viewer and the Singularity viewer are one in the same, with a few differences, Astra is currently at v1.6.4 so in other words it is very similar to the previous Singularity v1.6.4.
Is it currently under development ? I don't think so, the last update from v1.6.3 was a little over 2 months ago, and I see little compelling reason for the dev's to continue forward, when Singularity has just about everything you could want already built into their v1.7.0
If you are looking for my personal advice, and want to explore various Open Sim grids, Astra will do the job, Singularity will do it better.
